The 6938 modern fishing pole arch floor lamp with a marble base and a featured extra large shade is our highest quality and customer favorite lamp that brings a warm and welcoming glow to any room. While standing at 81" tall the arches full extension hangs 40" from the base. It has an ultra-slender body which means this floor lamp slides unobtrusively even into the narrowest nooks and crannies. It is easily position able near an office desk or work table. With an amazingly beautiful marble base that comes in black or white option along with a drum shade made of fabric that comes in black, white, Gray, or Espresso it has the options to match any scenery. The dimensions of the shade are 10"H x 18"W x 18"D. This product is different from the 6938 regular shade because the size of the shade is significantly larger. Being larger it stands out more and makes for the centerpiece of a room while being able to do the functions of the original 6938. From bottom to top it has an easy to use foot switch which also comes with a 64" cord allowing it to be placed virtually anywhere. At the arches full extension, it is visibly most appealing because the shade hangs perfectly. With this product being such high quality it is amazing that the only tool required for assembly is a handy screwdriver. The pole is made from brushed steel which adds to the high-quality appearance. For safety purposes, this product is UL listed which allows it to be cleaned with a dry cloth. It is compatible with type a 100-watt bulbs or with CFL 23 watt bulbs. Cfl means compact fluorescent which conserves energy. Light bulbs are not included.
